Service Description
The reformer Pilates classes are designed to allow members to perform a variety of Pilates exercises on the reformer machine. The reformer offers all the benefits of Pilates, including strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance. Our reformer machines have specially designed extended legs to make it more accessible to lie, sit, kneel, or stand on to perform exercises with ease. The iMoveFreely® program is incorporated, featuring gentle muscle energy techniques, nerve mobilisations, and joint mobilisations, which help to prepare your body for movement and improve your confidence in your practice. This makes it an ideal option for those who find mat/floor work challenging. The reformer machine is like a bed frame with a flat platform on it, allowing it to roll back and forth. The frame is connected to the platform through ropes and springs, with adjustable spring tension to suit individual needs.

Health Advisory: Before participating in any class or appointment, it is strongly recommended that individuals consult their General Practitioner (G.P.) if they have any spinal or joint issues, or have recently undergone medical procedures or operations. Participation in the class is not advised for those who have experienced an injury, operation, or medical procedure within the past six weeks. Additionally, this class is not suitable for pre-natal participants. Liability Agreement: By accepting this invitation, you acknowledge and accept full responsibility for any injury, loss, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, during your participation in the class or appointment. You agree not to hold any instructor at Ceris Gratton-Jones liable, nor will you seek compensation, penalise, or prosecute in the event of such occurrences. Cancellation Policy: Once classes or appointments are booked and confirmed, cancellations are accepted but are non-refundable and non-transferable to another date or between members.
